Week 5 - Day 3

So it's a public holiday today... and i think i should have just skipped work... no seriously!

What i've learned today.. is that how to document your calculations so that you can refer them back after a while.. which i found quite hard!! Or maybe it's just the way i document stuff... i mean, my supervisor was like i should do this and that... which to me is just more longer words and more steps to write out.. is it for the best?? i have no idea.. ask me back in about a weeks time when i start forgetting everything and see how everything goes out than ok?? XD

So.. new years eve, and i'm heading off to kl tmr... will not be blogging on monday as that is when i come back... so.. for now, let me just wish all of you guys HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! And may 2011 be a good year for all of us!!! Oh i really hope i survive this job and another year!! I really do!! XD

Week 5 - Day 2

Finally... i learnt something new today!! I learned how to calculate and select the prefect spring to use for your parts.... and oh my.. took me like ages just to figure out the right one. Even after my supervisor showed me the steps.. it still was so difficult to get the right one.

Reason... probably because of the hit and get kind of approach you have to use during the process. You look at your design, pick one... start calculating.. and if it doesn't fit.. either you alter your design... or just pick another one and redo the calculations again! And with so many spring constants here and there... WOW!!! And my supervisor's like asking me for a back-up spring!! I could only get one and now he wants another one??? Oh god!!!

Well, it's new years eve tomorrow... any new years resolutions?? I just hope to get through this thing!! I really do!!! Man i can't believe i'm gonna have to work like this right after i graduate!! I don't want to.. is there any way i can get out of this mess?? this is not i was ment to do now was i??? And i can't believe i have to work on a public holiday!! Yes.. it's been declared a public holiday tomorrow and i still have to be at work!! T.T Hope tomorrow everything will just turn out fine!! oh god...

Week 5 - Day 1

ok.. i'm gonna repeat myself today... what i did today was just some improvements on my part and that was it... EXACTLY!!! so what am i surpose to blog today??? well at least he didn't ask me to redo the whole thing right after i came up with a design, which i think shows some improvements now doesn't it???

Oh god... at least it's gonna be Thursday soon!!! I'm so excited!!! New years coming soon!!! let's start the count down than shall we?? check out my other blog for any new years special than!! XD

Week 4 - Day 5

ok.. so December is coming to an end... aren't we all excited or what? XD

Anyway, about today, well didn't really learnt much except on some additional parts that was needed for the fixture. Supervisor was really busy today, and so I kinda spent my time on MSN, chatting with Tina. God i miss her so much!!

And also, our area was facing some "water trouble" today, so i woke up really EARLY, just to beat the clock. And yes, i manage to shower in time. Our office had water as well so, that wasn't really a problem. Phew! And i thought it was gonna be a horrible day.

Well, thank god everything went well today... hope i really get to learn something tomorrow, otherwise i might just end up writing the same stuff over and over again in this blog! Now i don wanna bore you guys to death now do i?? : P

Week 4 - Day 4

Not much to talk about today, since my supervisor was on leave... so i didn't really learn anything.... except that if you wanna just take off and do your stuff... just tell your boss and.. DO IT!!!

yup.. today i had my longest lunch break ever!!! Rushed down all the way to pulau tikus CIMB bank to settle some account stuff.. and to get my atm card.. gosh i hope i remember the pin... i have so many pin numbers now... i hope i don mix everything up!! oh boy.....

and tomorrow... the whole of Penang is gonna become a desert!! Neh, i'm just joking, only thing is that we are gonna be facing a water outage for almost the whole entire day cause their gonna be fixing the pipes... god i just hope that they don't delay anything!! otherwise i'm so dead!! T.T

Week 4 - Day 1

Hurry.. break starts tmr!! I feel so happy not attending the team building thing in bukit merah.. i mean come on.. it's almost christmas!! I'm going shopping instead!! XD Anyway, woke up with a big smile on my face as i was just counting down the time till my break started. I was just too happy!

And what a lucky day it was! My supervisor was so busy the whole morning that i rarely touched anything at all!! I mean seriously, i even went out for lunch like 10 min earlier and got back 10 min later!! And my sup. was still busy rushing off his work. Well plant shuts down tmr, so everyone's kinda busy for the day.... Except me!! XD

Anyway, he got his job down by 3.30 and got on teaching me with some new stuff. Numeric drawing... WTH was that??!! I mean, he did photocopy for me some papers of like circuitry stuff, but i still not really get the whole thing! I know it tells you how different cylinder valve would function, but once you try putting everything together, well it just doesn't really make sense to me.. I'll try re-studying it on monday then.. after all.. it is my break day tmr... So who cares..... for now that is.. XD

Week 3 - Day 5

So, was back at work this morning, since my MC was only for ONE DAY! i couldn't have slept in anymore now could i?? didn't dare drive to work, as i was still in this "blur" stage... so mom was driver for the day.

Got in, and learnt a new thing... yup, got to learn how to fix the same old fixture but now, instead of using a google clamp, my supervisor told me to use a pump instead, which kinda made things more complicated as a pump needed more stuff. Oh ya, and before that, he taught me that we could actually design any parts to be as small as possible so long as the machine is able to cut/ produce the final product easily. He said that smaller parts uses less material, meaning environmental friendly... but it depends on how the customer would want the final product to be. He even taught me how to use a new function in solid works, i'm not sure what the name is, but it actually calculates weather your design will be able to withstand the force of your components/ motor movement parts. Cool huh?? It tells you where the most strain will occur according to the force you apply to it!! It even produces an animation to see how the bending will be like, and a colour chat to see where the highest strain level is!! Finally... materials all over again, and it just has to show back up when i threw everything out of my brain.

But anyway, he finished teaching about the pump quite early today, i assembled every single component in the right order, (finally no BIG HUGE redoing mistakes.. XD Improvement i see here!) and because mom was driver for the day... she got herself stuck in a traffic jam for 30 min!!! For the first time i actually was the 3rd last person to leave the office!! even my supervisor left!! OH GOD!! i was so scared that i would have been the last one.. and worst thing was that my supervisor didn't really threw me any work at all!! I had to wait for new instructions the next day in order to complete my task.. and for once i could have left on time!! My mom had to show up LATE!! good grief!

Week 3 - Day 4

ok... so i kinda miss out on a few days of blogging... cause i've been so tired just after reaching home.... so i'm gonna try replacing those day of blogging tonight.. alright guys??

So.. day 15... monday.. i kinda bunk work because i..... well, i had a huge horrible headache the night before., and so i woke up with an even worst headache, damn me for not having a fever, other wise it would be easier to get an mc... but thank god to the horrible cough i got right in the morning. Yeah i was coughing non stop so i went off to the doctor's and got myself an MC for the day.. XD Oh boy... REST!!! Yea, after killing myself for weeks.. i really do need one!! XD

Week 3 - Day 3

For today, well all i can say is.. it was kind of a good "scary" day. I mean, my supervisor was standing behind my shoulder for almost 3 hours!!! Actually he was guiding me step by step,since he said that the way i used to do stuff is not right. But OH COME ON!!! That's so scary man!! And so much pressure!! I'm used to doing stuff my way, at least give me some time before i get use to yours!


Anyway, got back so damn late cause he was teaching.. and teaching.... same old stuff, about drawing and assembling, and how to download components from the web, which reminds me, i've gotta have the site!!! It's so useful! You get to download every standard part from there!! Well not every but so long as you have the part number, and a user name and a password, is just one click a way from geting your std parts!! AMAZING isn't it???

Ok people, it's a friday night, actually it's 12am now so... GOOD NITEZ!

Week 3 - Day 2

So i woke up at 3am because of a terrible tummy ache.. and my goodness, it lasted for the WHOLE DAY!!! Had diarrhea at 6am, nearly couldn't walk that time, but still insisted to go to work. (Wow what a good girl am i...) Mom took me to the doc in the afternoon and got me an MC but i still went back to work, because of that STINKING DESIGN!!! Man!!!

It's been 2 days since i've been working on that design, and man! I finally finished it! Now i know, there's definately some errors in there, but i am not gonna change a bloody thing any more!! It's freaking hard you know?? Especially when you have to follow his steps one by one. I felt like just walking home for the past two days, redoing the design over and over again. Adding relations and stuff.... man!!! Even thought the final product looked exactly the same, but still... just because of one short cut, i had to redo the bloody thing ALL OVER AGAIN!! And those screw and stuff... man!! How the hack i know when to add in what screw??!! Of cause i'm just gonna put a through hole all the way through, i don't even know how many kinds of screws are there!

Anyway, one more week till my holiday! Man can you believe it? It's gonna be christmas SOON! Can't wait!! XD Hope tmr will be a better day.. XD now i can finally say "T.G.I.F!!" XD Who doesn't love fridays??

Week 3 - Day 1

Alright, let's get straight to the point shall we???

Continued with my design yesterday, and i finally done it! Except for the screw part, my supervisor said it wasn't really all that important so, ok.... and so, we went on with a more slightly budgeted design, or as we call it "pricey" kind of design. And that took my like FOREVER to design AGAIN!!

Damn it! I'm so used to product design that i have no idea how to design machines parts at all!! All those bloody components just make me SICK!!! How the HACK am i suppose to know all those stuff when i haven't even learned all those stuff at all!! How everything fix in, how much tolerance is needed, how does this and that work!! It's gonna take me WEEKS... maybe MONTHS before i can get this right!! I'm still so dead!!! Tomorrow and the day after! and the week after!! OMG!!! How the hack am i suppose to get this done??!!! ARGH!! HELP ME!!

Week 2 - Day 5

so nothing much happned today, except for the fact i screw up so much!!!

I was so sleepy this morning, that i really wanted to take a nap in the afternoon during lunch, instead, mom took me to qb cause it was raining... and ended up i had the most TIRED afternoon EVER!!! Was still doing the designing parts but this time, i was designing the top cover. I was so tired that i tried to do everything into one sketch, i totally forgotten that they lable every component one by one, ain't like uni where we use to cheat our way through, and just model everything up as one part so you can just render it in 3d max and forget about doing the drawing of the component since it's only a screw. I TOTALLY forgotten about that, and i was so sleepy that i didn't know what i was doing at all!!! My supervisor gave such a long lecture on designing his components that i totally had no idea what he was talking about! At all!! it was lk, "one ear in, and the other ear out" kind of situation!

Man did i nearly screw up this afternoon during work. I'm defiantly gonna take a good night rest and just sleep till 7am tmr morning.... In fact, let's just wrap this up with a Good night shall we?? Blog tmr guys!

Week 2 - Day 4

Alright guys, I'm gonna try making this a short one, as i'm really tired!!!!

So, wat i did today was really tough! My first every machine design!!! Yes!! My supervisor asked me to design a machine!! I'm so used to designing products that i have not a single clue on how machine designing is at all... Thank god he gave me a simple one, as i still couldn't really get everything right.

Designing a machine ain't anything lk designing a product, you don't have to think about cost or what so ever, what's really important is that you design something that is machinable! Which is something i'm so bad at!! You have to make sure the radius is the same as the std size they use, weather or not there is enough tolerance in there, weather the components will fit in, and how everything links up! And you have to make sure that each nut and screw you use is available in the work shop too!! Wow!! Took me one whole day to came up with a design! Well actual, it only took me half a day but then my supervisor only told me all those rules above, which made me had to REDO the whole thing!

I haven't even assemble the nuts and screws in yet!! Even the names aren't in at all!! I'm gonna have to do that tmr morning. Well, at least i have soemthign to do in the office tmr morning, and not needing to wait for him to give me something to do again. XD Good grief!

P.S Remind me to take unpaid leave tmr as well, otherwise i'll have to go to Bukit Merah for team building, which is something i TOTALLY don't wanna do on Christmas eve!

Week 2 - Day 3

Friday... YEAH!!!! wow.. and to think i was just complaining about my monday blues... it's finally FRIDAY!!

So wat i did today was just assembly of small components.... making that into sub assemblies... and thn putting those sub-assemblies together into one big final assembly. Total number of parts placed together?? Well.. might be around 30-40 parts. I'm not that sure either. Anyway, i finished the whole thing... Spent like the whole day just doing that!! Seriously!!! Too many parts to put together. And i kept fixing the parts wrong way around!!! Thank god my supervisor provided some sub-asssemblies, which i did not have to do taht part by part. Well i kinda actually did it for the first one, when he told me there was a file that he gave me which had all the sub-assemblies in it, i was lk "WHY DIDN'T YOU TOLD ME EARLIER??!!"

So i finished my big assembly, and my supervisor gave me my own personalize template!! Yea!! He even taught me a shortcut way of not needing to type every single information onto the drawing sheet!! Didn't knew it was just that simple!! I mean, he just copied and paste everything from excel, and that was it!!! I'm thinking now weather if we could use that technique onto the ordinary template that we normally use for uni, that would definately save me lk TONS of time, not needing to repeatedly type things out one by one... XD I know i can save a copy and make a template out of it, but his was was SO GOOD!!!! XD Just loved that way!! XD The only thing you have to type out in the end was the scale of your drawings!!! And guess what?? even for your BOM list.. you don't need to retype everything!! Ain't that great??!!

So it's friday, and my results are coming out in lk a couple of hours... i'm not gonna think about it, yes i'm not... OMG I'M FREAKING OUT!! WHO THE HACK AM I KIDDING??!!! pls don't let me die!! Pls let me pass!! PLS!!!

Week 2 - Day 2

Wow, I am really super tired tonight, just fetched my home from the airport. But still, I'm gonna keep my promise and type this blog out!!

A lot of things actually happened today. It started off by my supervisor, taking me touring around the machining section of the company. As i am not a Mech Engineer, he showed me all shorts of stuff that i never seen before. Especially those tools for machining like grinding and milling, and to think of i just studied those for materials last sem and not understand a single thing! Now i really know what's it for and how does it really look lk.

Spent about 30-50 min touring around, looking at big machine parts assembled by the company itself, and also those big machine used for manufacturing. Honestly to say, i was kinda sleepy, so what ever my supervisor said this morning, i think only like 40% of it went into my brain, maybe less!

So went back up, and was getting ready to go onto FB when my another supervisor came up to me and handed me my official task! To model up and make a drawing for motorola! by 4pm!! (WTH! A deadline so soon??!!) Well it's actually only adding some extra holes in so that the buttons are able to sit in properly. So, there i went, measuring, drawing, modeling up in solid works. Signing it off, handing it to the manager, and than to the person in charge, this and that. Oh wow, so that's how SOP really works. You even have to fill in a database sheet in the end as a record of a new part for the company (PR). So now finally, my desktops actually used for real work! I hope i didn't screw anything up, anyway my supervisor checked it over, so it should be alright, i'm only a trainee... DON'T go expecting much from me!

And to wrap up for the day, my supervisor gave me like almost 20-30 parts and asking me to practice assembling them together. Couldn't really finish them by 6.15pm so i decided to do it tmr, otherwise i'll have nothing to do!!! At least now i know what i'm gonna be doing tmr.... assembling those 20-30 parts together.... Thank god he didn't ask me to model thm up.. otherwise, i think i might just jump down the building straight!

P.S oh ya!! i finally got my key card as well!! now i don't have to "sneak" into the office every morning!! Well, back off to sending that letter to uni, can't believe our gov is so fussy when ever it comes to money!! I'M SERIOUS!!!

Week 2 - Day 1

OMG!! It's day 6!!! wow.. it's been one week!!! how fast was that?? I'm so LOVING IT!!!... XD

And again, i'm gonna tell you guys that.. i learnt' more tech drawings. Only advance thing that i learned today was tolerance and stuff... so nothing much to say here. ( did you know that there were so many different kinds of tolerance??!!) and i heard tmr i have to model up more parts!! FOR ASSEMBLY!!! gosh!! i'm gonna go nuts soon!!! looking at solid works and tech drawings like this!

Oh ya, Vivian (my HR) told me that i needed a cover letter from the uni in order for the company to be able to claim allowance from the gov. So.. another big headache i have to settle here. And also.. i finally got my company email set up!! and my own pc account!! Which means i don't have to use someone else's account any more!! i get to personalize everything!!!! HURRAY!! i think that's wat i'll properblly  spent most of my time doing tmr.. PERSONALIZING!!! XD

Anyway, just a few more days to go till my results come out!! Man... i'm so scared!!! I hope i did well.. I HAVE TO!! i don't wanna fail and redo anything!! i really don't!!! OMG!! i'm so scared!!! HELP ME!!!! T.T

Week 1 - Day 5

Work work work. Finally, my fifth day at work, and i'll say... this is the most sleepiest day of all!!

Went in slightly late this morning as it was raining heavily the moment i woke up. I decided to wait for the rain to stop before i drove to work, and so, i ended up clocking in at 8.55am, according to the office clock that is. (yea, our office clock is 10 min faster than the usual clock) Thank god no one showed up that early. Only 3 people were sitting there, working!

And about what i learnt today, well nothing much, just more tech drawings. So many dimensioning to do!!! I don't even do that much dimensioning in uni at all!!! And so i was sitting there, dimensioning.... and i nearly slept off!! Right infront of the computer! Thank god no one saw me. Man am i tired!! and to think today's a public holiday!! MAN!!! i really need some rest soon!!!

So i finished up practicing dimensioning early today, so my supervisor decided to give me a HUGE catalog that has some theory facts on tolerance and surfacing. And that's for tomorrow's task. Which means i'll be staring at tech drawings again! but this time adding surfacing and tolerance!! Oh man.... : (

Week 1 - Day 4

"I've got the monday blues...." ~ It's true!! I DO!! couldn't get to bed early last night, not sure why... so i was kinda late for work. Actually i was only like 10 min late. The office was still empty when i got there. So to think about it, i was still on time!! XD

Now, about what i did today, well nothing much, just more 3D modeling and a some 3rd angle drawings. That was something new i learnt. I mean, it's not as simple as how i did it during uni. In uni, we used to just label what ever is necessary, here... every thing's needs accuracy! No kidding. Even the way to label a part will cause a huge difference during manufacturing! Because of machining isn't abel to give us an accurate dimension, the way you dimension a part must be precise, and also you must make sure that weather the head or the bottom is gonna be flux with another component to determine how to label your parts! Took me like nearly forever to learn those up! And also the naming of the screw heads... wow!!!! Thank god someone gave me a list to look at.. i don't think i'll be abel to remember everything just in a few hours. I think I'll be keeping the list for a while.

So that's what i learnt for today. More work tmr, oh god.. (and it's a public holiday for gov workers.... oh man!!!) Anyway, it's gonna be one week soon. Still deciding how many days of leave should i take for going down to kl, after all... they're asking me to take UNPAID LEAVE for not going to the team building in Bukit Merah. Oh come on, no one in my section is going anyway... and it's on christmas eve!!!! Forget it! i'm definitely not going!! XD I wanna have a good christmas of my own!! XD

Week 1 - Day 3

YOHOO!!! Friday!!! who the hell doesn't love Fridays?? I mean, it's a day that just brings you so much hope and joy over your weekend. XD.. especially that moment driving home from the office, honestly i've never felt lk this before. I always loved Fridays but this is like, i don't even have homework to do!! It's way much more BETTER thn the Fridays i sued to have!

So about what i did today, hmm... nothing much, just solid works... looking at tech drawings and trying to model them up onto solid works.. which took me like the WHOLE DAY!!! exactly! i took one whole bloody day just to figure out one machine part!! there were like holes here and there... the shape itself was so awkward... oh man... this is way way WAY much more harder than what i usually do in uni! I also learnt about a thing called PR (product re.. something.. darn i can't remember.. i'm so dead!) Or should i say my supervisor just asked me to help him out with his work. Well at least it was just typing stuff onto excel, not much big of a deal.

And the best thign of all was that i got to go to NEW WAY!!! and have karaoke fun!!! the only problem was dad.. he didn't allow me to be there till 1am.. and we started at 9pm!! oh come on!! someone was willing to fetch me home!! Dads.. they act like so strong and all... MAN!!! I'm not a young girl anymore!! i wanna have fun and...

I'm so tired... i feel lk going to bed soon,.. if only i haven't ate cakes in new way. Anyway, had lots of fun today!!! FUN FUN FUN!! just love fridays.... don't you?? XD

Week 1 - Day 2

Right, so i'm just gonna jump into what happened during lunch, as my whole day was about drawing machine parts up on solid works. Oh wait, before that.... I actually got my first major job!!! well, it's not that of a big of a deal, since i was just asked to draw up two minor machine components for some project, but it's still my first job!!! XD

ok, so lunch, went out with my colleges to Queensbay, and one of them wanted to eat shushi king so badly, that we all decided to just let him have shushi. We went out late, cause we had to wait for vivian, (our HR, she was busy doing something) and so by the time we got to Queensbay it was like 1pm!!! lunch time ends at 1.30pm!!! And the parking, man we should have gone up to the multi-story parking instead of the basement parking, we wasted like nearly 15 min just to find parking!!! How bad was that?

And that's not the worst part! After placing our orders, we waited for 30 mins just for our meal to arrive!! 30 whole mins!! and the worst thing was, Vivian's dish didn't came at all!!!! They FORGOTTEN to make her dish!!! And by the time they managed to cook up her dish, we were late for work! i mean seriously... by the time we all manage to get back to the office, it was like 2pm! Oh ya, did i mentioned our boss was in today??!!! He wasn't in the whole day yesterday but he was in today!!! OMG!!! thank god i wasn't the only one walking in late, otherwise, my what bad impression am i gonna have on the boss!

Anyway, learn more new functions on solid works today. Man, i didn't knew that just drawing a simple part on solid works take so much thinking!! I mean, just because they don't wanna redraw the whole component again, you have to think of the best way of drawing the part up on solid works so when you re-dimension the whole thing, it doesn't effect the holes and stuff! MAN!! How much more work can that get?!

So, i'm almost done with modeling, the next stage is to learn how to model stuff the easy and right way, i hope all this is gonna help me out in my project next sem, otherwise, I'm so gonna cry!!! Well, gotta go to bed soon, my colleges just invited me to New Way for some karaoke fun tomorrow after work! I hope it's gonna be fun! It's been a while since i last sang there, miss singing, and hogging the mic. XD

Week 1 - Day 1

First day of work. Boy man do i have a story here to tell you guys!

Alright, let's get started than. Woke up at 7am, as you know, I take like a REALLY REALLY REALLY LONG time to get ready. So, got ready, all dressed up, and went off to work! (mom fetched me there because she was scared that i would get lost, and her car wasn't starting so, she took my car to work instead)

So, mom droped me off at the gate, and well I went in of cause. Spoke to the gaurd to let me in, and he just.. well let me in, like not knowing what the hell was i talking about. I went in, wanting to find the HR when out of no where, this lady comes up to me and tells me "there's no Ms. Vivian here, are you sure you got the right office?"

The wrong office??!!!! Oh shit!!! My heart was going like, OMG!!!! Its the wrong one??? how can that be?? After a chat with the lady, then i found out that i landed myself in Zomic Electronics instead of Zomic Tech.!!! OMG!!! and i had no car!!! and mom just drove off like that, and i was gonna be so late!!! What else could i possibly do?? Call mom of cause! Thank god she didn't exit out into the highway yet, she managed to turn around in 5 min and pick me up. How embarrassing was that??!! Had to call the HR just to get directions to that office, (and to think my parents work in phase 4 for nearly half their lives!)

Finally, got there late of cause, and i was asked to sit down at a table infront of the recption to read the office guide lines and regulations. Wow, those were some pretty long guide lines! Took me like almost half an hour to get through the whole thing!!! After that, i was finally being brought into the office by the reception, and being introduced to the whole company, and of cause my boss. Now if you're interested in the company size, it's like really small. I mean i don't think there are more then 20 people in the office, i'm not sure weather is because that all the bosses are working from home, and no one is willing to come to work, or it's really just that small.

Now, about what i did for my first day. Well basically i spent half my day, or should i say my ENTIRE morning reading something called SOP. And there were like words.... and words.... and words... and zzzzzzzzzz..... Man i nearly slept at my desk! (oh ya, forgotten to mentioned they gave me a desk, neat huh?) Didn't really understand what the whole thing was about, man i'm gonna take my USB there to work tmr and copy the whole file home!  So was I reading that, could stand it any more, and next thing i knew, i went opening solid works! yes, i had nothing to do there, and their msn wasn't working, so i had no choice but to just open solid works to play around with it. 10 min later, a guy just came on by and told me that he needed to use the pc for some work, so i got up, sat at someone else place, and started TEXTING! and about an hour later, i was only given back my seat, and ... that was it! it was lunch time!!!

So after lunch, went back into the office, and because i couldn't stand reading and not doing anyhting at all, i went up talking to one of the girl (or should i say the only girl in our department) and asked weather if they had anything that i could do. And i ended up doing like 6 machine parts!!! How awsome was that!!! Thank god i love doing solid works, otherwise i would have complained my head off! One of the guys even thought me how to really use the "wizard hole" function that we seldom use in solid works, and now i know why we never use that, you have to learn almost all of the different terms for the bolts and nuts in order to be able to know how to use that function!!! And how nice of that guy to show me real examples of different kinds of blots and nuts, and making sure i really know how to use that function. Boy....

So spend my last few hours trying to figure out the tech drawings they had, and molding it up into solid works. And than, everyone came around me telling me that it was time to go home. So i did, i packed up, went out... and mom arrived just 2 min after i called her up, so.. i went home!

And that was day 1.... not sure how day 2 gonna be like, boy am i tired!!! Waking up at 7am, not having a nap in the middle, its like.... torcher! I'm killing my brain!!! Ok guys, gonna relax it for a while by watching you tube, and off to bed i go... gotta make sure i don't screw up day 2!!! peace out guys!

And the Count Down Starts....

Big day tomorrow! That's right, I start my first day of industrial training tomorrow, and boy do i feel so bad now. I have a sudden feeling that I'm suited for work at all!!! I don't even know if i can wake up at 7am tomorrow, and don't get lost! Man i hope i remember the place. (After that incident of how mom and dad showed me where the place is, phase 3 and 4 ain't that small after all.)

Right, so about work. Called up Ms. Vivian this morning, the HR. I didn't know the HR was responsible for "welcoming" new comers into the company. Anyway, by the "voice" of her, she sounds like a good lady. I hope she's good. I'm really nervous getting someone like Jude. Man if someone like Jude were my head, I would cry my eyes out!!! I don't think i wanna do my industrial training anymore! (Is there even a way to quit?) Anyway, i start work at 8.30am tomorrow morning. Hope everything runs smoothly from there. I hope i just don't get stuck in traffic and lost my way in that BIG industrial plant.

3 days, 12 weeks, 96 days..... Hope i get through it. Count down with me guys, and see what exciting adventure I'll have. That is, i hope something exciting happens. Well then, wish me luck guys!

P.S. I still can't believe I'm doing all this just for a degree, man those of you who don't need working experience for a degree, BE GREAT-FULL!
